Broadreach Nature Advanced Probiotic Digestive Support Paste

New at Doghealth, Broadreach Nature Advanced Probiotic Digestive Support Paste for dogs and cats is an all-natural way to keep your pet happy and healthy! The highly palatable paste combining three key ingredients to help aid your pet’s digestive issues and diarrhoea.

Broadreach Nature Advanced Probiotic Digestive Support Paste helps to maintain digestive efficiency by restoring the microflora and soothing the gut lining with these three ingredients:

-Probiotics in the form of Enterococcus faecium, aimed at maintaining a high level of beneficial bacteria in the gut

-Fructo-oligosaccharides (prebiotics) provide nourishment for the probiotics.

-Bentonite clay is a natural biding agent to help firm up the faeces.

The blend of probiotics and clay is delivered in a syringe that is dispensed into the mouth. Clay absorbs the toxins and excessive fluids in the gut whilst the probiotics replenish the lost bacteria.

What is Canine/Cat Diarrhoea?

Diarrhoea is the passage of liquid like faeces. It usually begins with large volumes of stool and causes and increased number of bowel movements.

In the normal process of digestion, food takes around 8 hours to pass through the small intestine and over this time the bulk of the food and 80% of the water is absorbed, whatever is left makes its way to the colon and rectum, and a well-formed stool is eventually deposited.

With diarrheoa, food arrives at the rectum faster and in a liquid state, resulting in loose and unformed bowel movement.

Causes of Canine/Cat Diarrheoa:

-Change in diet

-Food intolerance

-Ingestion of spoiled or garbage food

-Ingestion of poisonous substances or a foreign body (for example, a toy)

-Allergic reaction

-Bacterial or viral infection

-Inflammatory bowel disease

-stress

-Other medical issues

Please note- If your pets diarrheoa is black, they could be experiencing internal bleeding of the stomach and should be examined by a vet immediately.

Suitable for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from weaning age upwards.

Simply put the recommended dosage in your pets food, let them lick the paste off the syringe, or put onto a finger and place into the side of your pets mouth.

What can I do to help my pet?

It is often recommended that you avoid giving your pet any food for 12-24 hours whilst they experience diarrhoea, but do provide plenty of fresh, clean water to prevent dehydration.

Take your pet to the vet if his/her diarrheoa continues for more than a day, or if you observe lethargy, vomiting, fever, bloody stools or unexplained weight loss.
